| For Eimeria tenella, its main site of action is on the sexual cycle of the second - generation schizonts of coccidia. However, it has no effect on the schizonts of Eimeria maxima and Eimeria brunetti. For Eimeria maxima, its site of action is on the zygote stage of coccidia; it has high efficacy on the microgametocyte stage of Eimeria brunetti. Diclazuril also has an inhibitory effect on the formation of sporulated oocysts. |
